The JOJ Memorial Foundation (JOJ-MF) was formed as a collaborative effort in loving memory of Mr. J.O.J. Onyeaghala who died in 1989, representing a variety of goodwill support, in Obohia Ahiazu Mbaise Imo State Nigeria. The purpose of JOJ-MF is to provide some level of succor to our indigent community and environs through provision of Basic Health and Medical Diagnostic Facility.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Pharmacy Technician
Job Location: Ahiazu Mbaise, Imo
Job Summary
- We are recruiting a qualified and reliable Pharmacy Technician who will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing excellent counselling for the patients seen at our Centre.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for maintaining adequate stocks of medications and ensuring medications are stored to preserve their quality.
- Provide friendly service to all our patients
- Accurately interpret patient prescriptions
- Advise patients on possible side effects of drugs and how to avoid or manage them.
- Deliver excellent, patient-centered counselling on medications, adherence and preventive practices.
- Use electronic medical records systems and electronic stock management tools
Qualifications
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent Certification of Pharmacy Technician
- Relevant work experience will be an added advantage
Requirements:
- Computer literate.
- Have a passion for patient-centered care.
